Administrator Settings

I. Add Game Member or Master Administrator

Only Master Administrator have the authority to perform this operation.

Go to Authority Management >> Click on Add User >> Enter user’s nickname or TapTap ID >> For Role Type, select ‘Game Members’ or ‘Master Administrator’.



II. Manage Role Configuration

Only Master Administrator have the authority to perform this operation.

· View default roles’ authority
In Authority Management >> Role Configuration, there is a set of default roles that are commonly used such as developer, publisher and advertising manager. Authority of Roles can be found in View Role. Go to User Management to add new authority according to your needs. Notice that authority of default roles cannot be changed.

· Add roles

There might be some inconvenience as the authority of default roles cannot be changed. In this case, go to Add Role where there are two types of roles: the Game Role deals with one specific game while the Provider's Role can deal with multiple games of the same provider. After adding a new role, Master Administrator may name the role and select the authority according to the actual needs.



III. Role Configuration for Game Members

Only Master Administrator have the authority to perform this operation.

· Provider's authority settings for game members

Account with provider’s authority can set up game members’ authority according to the project’s needs. For example, provider administrator may manage the creation and update of the game, while finance role will have the back end that focuses on the settlement, reconciliation, etc. Go to Authority Management >> Select user >> Click on Edit Authority to select and save the settings of this user’s authority.



· Game authority settings for game members

Game authority can be set up according to each game's specific needs.

For each game, the game member’s authority can also be set up independently.


IV. Delete Game Members

Only Master Administrator have the authority to perform this operation.

Go to Authority Management >> Find the user >> Click on ‘deleteadmin’. A pop-up window for editing the authority of the user will appear, where the user can be added as a Master Administrator or be deleted.


IV. Q&A

1. Can the Master Administrator be changed? Is it possible to set up a new Master Administrator?

Yes.
Please send your request to [email protected] with scanned copy of Business License or other proof that you are an official staff of this provider.

TapTap’s operation staff will contact you and process your request within 2 business days after receiving your email. Please stay in touch. After sending the email, you may also contact your operation staff in TapTap to speed up the process.

After the original Master Administrator is deleted, please submit the developer application in the name of the same provider. After your application is approved, you will become the new Master Administrator of this provider account by default.

2. Can users change the email address that is linked to the TapTap account?

Yes.
Please make sure that the new email address has not been linked with any TapTap account. Please send your request to [email protected] with proof that you or your provider is the owner of this account.

After receiving your email, TapTap operation staff will forward your application to the relevant team, who will process the matter within 1 business day.
